Sally Standish

Sally Standish began tap dancing at age 4 in a second floor studio in downtown Toledo. Her early memories are making a lot of noise and then getting ice cream after class. She really liked the whole dance experience! When she was 9 she began taking ballet and loved it. Ballet showed her the rewards of discipline and what it's like to feel beautiful when you dance. Sally has also enjoyed taking master tap classes in New York City, Chicago and Ann Arbor. She finds it interesting that once again she is dancing in a second floor studio.

Currently she enjoys working with advanced dancers over the age of 20. Her style is a mix of old time tap, rhythm, and musical interpretation. Her goal is to make her classes fast-paced, challenging and fun. Her students are confident, accomplished tap dancers that are proud of their abilities.
