Bonnie Spencer

Bonnie has been tap dancing since the mid-1980's. She comes by her rhythm and abilities honestly through hard work and championship training in ice skating. An original member of the "Tapping Titanettes," Bonnie began her tap "career" as a St. John's High School Mom. She progressed through the ranks into "The Manhattan Dance Company," a performing group of Off Broadway Dance Company, which began in 1991. She continues to perform, and is multi-talented in that she can teach all level of tap at OBDC.

Bonnie is a wonderful tap technician and enjoys sharing her knowledge of tap with of her students.

She teachers the OBDC afternoon class for the more mature dancer, and also teaches soft shoe classes at the Maumee Senior Center.

Bonnie has taken master classes from some of the notables in the tap dance dynasty and has performed all over the country. One of the highlights of Bonnie?s 30 year dance career was marching and dancing in the 2001 Thanksgiving Day Parade.
